As well as being co-founder and operational/organisational director for Kids2020 I work with several other companies and associations providing expertise and direction in setting up organisational and operational models that enable them to ground their visions and strategies.
I prefer to work with a company from the top down: helping the owner/founder clarify their vision, purpose, values and principles then designing their offerings, organisation and operational models. I have recently started to use the principles behind Appreciative Inquiry.
I promote organic, adaptive organisations that evolve and respond as the business changes. Working on a Role/Contribution/Relationship model allows people to identify contributions they can make to the big picture in the future that play to their passions and strengths and allow them to focus on adding value while not being constrained by their past experience and activities.
